For fences over 200 linear metres, Liner, Simple, Rain Guard and Stacked Stone have a lower, industrial price — in grey and in white; for shorter fences the model's usual prices apply. The industrial prices are on the industrial fences page — by model and height, each next to the usual price of the same model in the same colour.

When a fence counts as industrial

When it encloses a production site, a storage depot, a logistics centre, an industrial park, a factory, a farm, a military site or a retail complex. Such a fence is long and straight and is paid for by the metre — that is why above 200 linear metres we give a lower price per metre. The panels are not painted and not coated.

The industrial offer

The industrial offer is not a separate group of models. It is the same Liner, Simple, Rain Guard and Stacked Stone, with their usual prices in grey and in white. When the fence is longer than 200 linear metres, you get a lower price per linear metre. Liner and Rain Guard belong to Modern Line, Simple to Simple Line, Stacked Stone to Nature Line. The premium white version is made with white Portland cement and marble aggregates.

The panels are made of reinforced concrete with 42.5R Portland cement, cast in covered halls. For Liner, Simple and Rain Guard the panel is 183 × 30 × 4–5 cm (thickness depending on the relief); for Stacked Stone it is 200 × 50 × 4–5 cm.

Above-standard heights and 310 cm posts

For Liner, Simple and Rain Guard the industrial price applies to 150, 180 and 210 cm — the height is built up from 30 cm panels. For Stacked Stone it applies to 150 and 200 cm, from 50 cm panels.

Above 210 cm we use reinforced 310 cm posts instead of the standard 285 cm ones (of which 80 cm go into the ground). They are more massive, so at such heights the industrial price is set by quote. This is how the perimeter of Mega Mall in Bucharest was built — a fence 240 cm high on reinforced posts. For Liner, Simple and Rain Guard the usual price for 240 cm with K9i reinforced posts is in the price list.

The fence can also be combined with barbed wire when the site requires it, and long runs are built with expansion joints — mandatory for a continuous wall of great length.

Long runs: foundations and assembly

We lay the foundations in two ways; the ground decides which one:

individual footings of about 40 × 40 × 80 cm under each post — the cheaper option; the first row of panels is sunk 5–10 cm into the ground;
a strip plinth of about 20 × 70 cm along the whole line — on unstable ground or pronounced level differences, which industrial sites often have.

An ordinary fence — a few dozen to about 100 linear metres — is assembled in 2–3 days with the ground prepared and the materials delivered; for long runs the timeframe is given in the quote. The foundation options are described in the installation section, and what to prepare on site we specify in the installation quote.

We also work in winter: we install at temperatures above −5 °C and on ground free of snow, and production runs all year round in the covered halls.

After a mechanical impact only the affected panels in the section are replaced, without dismantling the whole fence — the panels above the damaged one are lifted out and put back.

Konkret Line fences stand on sites of Glavbolgarstroy (GBS), at the “Balgarska Armia” stadium, at Carrefour, as well as at Mega Mall in Bucharest — where the fence is 240 cm high.

Warranty and documents

The guarantee is 15 years for all Konkret Line fences, including under the industrial offer, and runs from the completion of assembly. You receive a guarantee card and a certificate of conformity attesting the quality of the concrete. The service life of the concrete is over 50 years.

The guarantee applies provided the fence is not treated with unsuitable materials — for example oils, or cement in the joints between the panels. The full terms are in the guarantee card. The back of the panel is unfinished; on request it can be skimmed with adhesive and fibreglass mesh at any time after assembly.

Price and quote

The price per linear metre includes the panels and the posts; transport is stated in the quote, and installation is quoted separately, on request. You usually receive a quote for the elements and transport within 4 working hours; if you would like installation, once you confirm the quote we also prepare an installation quote for your site. The deposit is at least 20%. The balance is paid before each delivery — the value of the delivery minus the proportional part of the deposit; with a single delivery, the whole balance at once, before the fence leaves the factory.
