Answers to the questions our customers ask most often before ordering a fence.

Questions and answers

How much does a concrete fence cost per linear metre?

It depends on the model, height and colour: standard (grey) fence — 37–78 €/m, premium (white) — 61–129 €/m, excl. VAT. Rain Guard, Liner, Simple and Stacked Stone also have an industrial price — 32–93 €/m, which applies to fences longer than 200 linear metres, in grey and in white. The price per linear metre includes the panels and the posts; transport is stated in the quote, and installation is quoted separately, on request. All prices by model, height and colour are in the price list. Unit prices: panel 183 × 30 cm — 14 € in grey and 23 € in white; intermediate post K9 — 21 € in grey and 35 € in white. For Space, Stacked Stone, Douglas and Cedar the panel is different, with a different price.

VAT: what applies to your order

All prices on this site are without VAT. We are a company registered for VAT in Romania (RO28874302) and we deliver with our own transport. Which VAT applies depends on your country and on whether you buy as a company: EU companies with a valid VAT number: Intra-Community supply: invoice without Romanian VAT (reverse charge); you account for VAT in your country. Private persons in the EU: Distance sale: Romanian VAT (21 %) while our cross-border sales to private customers in the EU stay under 10 000 € a year, otherwise the VAT of your country through the EU One-Stop Shop. The quote states the rate that applies. Outside the EU (Serbia, North Macedonia, Moldova…): export without Romanian VAT; import VAT and customs clearance are paid at import, with 0 % duty on EU origin proof. The quote lists these costs separately.

Are there any hidden costs?

The quote for the elements and transport is the price of the fence delivered to your address. Installation, if you want it, is a separate quote — depending on the site, length, height and foundations. An extra cost may arise when an old fence has to be demolished or something beyond the assembly itself has to be done; we say so in advance, in the assembly quote. The prices of all models (excl. VAT) are in the price list.

How do I find out the final price?

The final price is the elements plus transport and, if you wish, installation. In the price list the prices per linear metre are excl. VAT and include the panels and the posts; transport is stated in the quote, and installation is quoted separately. Some models also have an industrial price: it applies to fences longer than 200 linear metres, in grey and in white; below that length the model's regular prices apply. You send an enquiry and receive a quote for the elements and transport. If you want installation, after you confirm it we also send you the installation quote — depending on the site, length, height and foundations.

How long until I receive the fence?

The production and delivery time depends on the size of the order, so we state it in writing in the quote — you usually receive it within 4 working hours, before you pay anything. The assembly of a typical fence itself takes 2–3 days with a prepared site and the materials delivered. See also: how assembly works.

How long does assembly take?

A typical fence — a few dozen to around 100 linear metres — is assembled in 2–3 days when the site is prepared and the materials have been delivered. For longer fences the time is stated in the quote. See also: how assembly works.

What is the warranty and under what conditions does it apply?

The warranty is 15 years for all fences — including the industrial offer — and runs from the completion of assembly. You receive a warranty card and a certificate of conformity. The warranty applies provided the fence is not treated with unsuitable materials — for example oils or cement in the joints between the panels. See also: how long a concrete fence lasts.

Do you offer delivery and assembly?

We deliver with our own transport anywhere in your country; the transport price is in the quote for the elements, and indicative prices by city are in the table on the “Delivery” page. Installation is quoted separately, on request, after you confirm the fence quote — depending on the site, length, height and foundations. On sloping ground the fence is installed in steps — see how to build a fence on a slope. We also deliver to Romania, Austria, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Greece and Serbia.

Can I order online?

Yes — from the model page: you choose the height, colour and length and send the order; we confirm it with a quote that also includes transport. You can also order by e-mail or on WhatsApp.

Is a concrete fence better value than a wooden, brick or mesh fence?

Yes, if you count what the fence costs over its whole life. A wooden fence has to be painted and repaired every few years; it also suffers from freezing and thawing. A brick fence is built in stages — excavation, foundation, bricklaying, rendering — and needs a base like a house; the bricks for one fence could build a house. Mesh does not screen the yard from view. A concrete fence is assembled in 2–3 days with a prepared site, requires practically no maintenance — no painting and no yearly repairs — and lasts over 50 years. See also: concrete or brick · concrete or mesh.

What does the back of the fence look like?

The back of the panels is untreated, without relief. If you wish, it can be skimmed with a thin layer of exterior adhesive with embedded fibreglass mesh — at any time after assembly.

What are the panels made of and what sets the white premium version apart?

The panels and posts are made of reinforced concrete with 42.5R Portland cement and classic steel-bar reinforcement; compressive strength exceeds 55 MPa at 28 days. A 5th-generation superplasticiser reduces the water in the mix, and after casting the concrete cures in enclosed halls under an acrylic membrane against evaporation, so that the cement hydrates fully. The white premium version is cast to a separate recipe: white cement for decorative concrete and quarried marble in four fractions — from powder to grains of up to 6 mm. The colour is in the concrete itself, not in a coating. More about production on the about the company page.

How do you achieve such precise relief on the panels?

The panels are cast in moulds of two-component platinum-cure silicone — the same material used for dental impressions. It reproduces the finest details and keeps the exact dimensions from panel to panel. We develop the models themselves in our own studio: the designers model the relief in 3D, the master model is milled from aluminium on a 3-axis CNC machine or 3D-printed in resin with 0.1 mm accuracy, and the silicone mould is cast from it.

What are the dimensions of the panels and posts?

For most models the panel is 183 × 30 × 4–5 cm and weighs 46–61 kg depending on the model; for Stacked Stone — 200 × 50 × 4–5 cm and 82 kg; for Space — 183 × 31.5 cm and 51 kg; for Douglas and Cedar — 200 × 40 × 4–5 cm and 77 kg. The fence is assembled from rows of panels between the posts, and its height for most models is 150, 180 or 210 cm; for Stacked Stone — 150 or 200 cm; for Douglas and Cedar — 160 or 200 cm. The standard post is 285 cm high; for fences over 210 cm a reinforced 310 cm post is used. The dimensions and weight of each model are given on its page — see all models.

Can it be assembled in winter?

Yes — at temperatures above −5 °C and with no snow on the ground. We pause only in the coldest weeks of January and February. See also: fence assembly in winter.

I have no electricity or water on the plot. Is that a problem?

It is not a problem. Water is needed for the foundation concrete and electricity for the tools. If there is no electricity, the crew can work with a generator — where we assemble ourselves, in Romania and Bulgaria, we bring one. A solution for water can always be found — just tell us when you place the order.

Do I need to be at home during assembly?

It is not necessary. Once the fence line, the height and the access have been agreed, the assembly crew can work on its own.

Do you also make gates?

Yes — pedestrian gates and driveway gates in various models. For now, gates are made and delivered only in Bulgaria, without installation — we are working on a solution for on-site installation. We install fences throughout your country. A tip from practice: while the crew pours the fence foundations, have them also set the metal supporting posts of the gate and pour the reinforced concrete beam beneath it — the gate is then made to fit the finished opening and there is no second round of digging.

Does a concrete fence protect against break-ins?

Yes — it is a solid wall of reinforced concrete, 4–5 cm thick, with posts concreted 80 cm into the ground. It cannot be cut through or pushed over by hand; if you wish, barbed wire can be fitted on top of the posts.

Who is behind Konkret Line?

A manufacturer with its own factory in Măgurele, near Bucharest — we have been producing precast concrete fences since 2011 and work for customers in 8 countries in Europe. The company is Konkret Line S.R.L., VAT No. RO28874302 — check it in VIES. The address, opening hours and photos of the production halls are on the company page.

How is payment made?

You pay by bank transfer, against an invoice from Konkret Line S.R.L. The contract and the invoice are issued once you have confirmed the quote for the fence and — if you want installation — have also received the assembly quote. Production starts with a deposit of at least 20% of the total amount. The balance is paid before each delivery — the value of that delivery, minus the proportional part of the deposit already paid. With a single delivery, the entire balance is paid in one go, before the fence leaves the factory.
